Which green, cool or warm?
Main Post:
I've gotten so many mixed feedback. Most agree the cool is best. Some say the warmer green makes me glow more. I'm torn between not knowing whether I'm a cool summer or spring of sorts. The car photo isn't great lighting but it's me wearing the cooler color of the two drapes
I do have mascara on but that is the only makeup I'm wearing

Creed Green Irish Tweed smells like Davidoff Cool Water to me....new to these things....Is this bad?
Main Post:
So i was shopping with my little brother on black friday and we were at macys? i think and i smelled and liked the davidoff cool water but my younger brother who is a snob when it comes to this shit forbid me from buying the $35 bottle and dragged me over to this specialty fragrance shop at the other side of the mall (south coast plaza coasta mesa so it was quite a trek) and he had me spend over $300 on a bottle of this shit.
Smeels just like davidoff to me but not as sharp it's more dull if it makes any sense, like davidoff has higher peeks and valleys when smelling and creed does the same thing but not as exaggerated, maybe the scent doesn't fit me?

Aquatics get a hard time from perfume snobs. I am constantly defending my beloved floral aquatics (I love Cool Water Woman) and getting sneered at for it.
Perfume, like many other things, will have people swearing blind that the most expensive one must be the best. Creed have made a lot of money from this. Their perfumes might use some better quality ingredients than, say, Cool Water, but they're still insanely overpriced, mostly for the cult they've artfully built around their name than for anything else. Aquatics get this even more than other types of scent. I've seen people swear that Au Lac by Eau D'Italie is miles better than cheaper floral aquatics and I'm almost positive the only thing convincing them of that is the higher price.
That's not to say Cool Water = good and Green Irish Tweed = bad. Perfume is subjective. 'Good' is the one you enjoy the most. You might read a lot of articles and reviews praising Creed and the prices certainly make you assume there must be all sorts of magic going on in each bottle, but at the end of the day, if you are just as happy in Cool Water is you are in Green Irish Tweed, then spend less on the cheaper one. There's no sense in dropping $300 for a scent that brings nothing new into your life.
It's nothing to do with the scent not being a good fit, it's just that in this case, your nose is just as happy with the cheaper scent and that's fine - and your bank account will thank you.
I don’t like Green Irish Tweed but I love Cool Water?
Main Post:
Since the large majority agrees that these 2 are almost the same (I disagree) I’m Just wondering if anyone can maybe point to why I love one but am not too fond of the other?
Top Comment:
The only reason I can think of is that Cool water has aquatic notes, which GIT lacks. GIT is noticeably more green and astringent.
Also, cool water has massive nostalgia points as well. Honestly, I’m indifferent to both but I can certainly see why you’d prefer cool water.
Green Irish Tweed vs. Cool Water Comparisons
Main Post:
So I know this has been discussed before, but I constantly hear people comparing these two fragrances.
I have GIT, and I like it a lot.
When I was younger, I used to own CW and wear it all the time. It had been years, but I couldn't remember them smelling remotely similar.
So I figured it was cheap, why not buy one? Which I did.
So now, I have the two of them side by side on scent strips, and I can confirm that they simply don't smell alike.
I am wondering what it is people are smelling to associate the two. I cannot imagine mistaking them for one another, or even making a comparison between them.
Setting aside the fact that GIT is a much higher-quality scent, the notes are just so disparate that I can't make the connection.
GIT is a sharp, green fragrance with an opening of freshly-cut grass, and a strong Creed Musk/Sandalwood/Ambergris combo in the base.
CW is a very aquatic-smelling blue fragrance, with some spices, woods and subtle florals.
Can someone tell me what I'm missing? I just don't get it. There has to be something, if so many people think they smell the same. Is it my nose?
Top Comment:
It's the Dihydromyrcenol in the scent that makes it smell very similar.
The openings for both are very similar due to DHM but then they go off in other directions.
CW stays relatively the same but GIT chances as DHM settles down and the green notes come out.
Super cool mint green living ship (DO NOT PUT DOWN A COMM OR BASE. IT WILL RUIN THE SPAWN)
Main Post:
If you put down a communication station or a base computer within 400 units, it will ruin the spawn and never show up again. Please just dont.
Top Comment: I'm curious though, is it truly a mint green color or is it a white color ship picking up green from the atmosphere? The ground and sky look green tinged, both ships in the background appear green. Many times the atmosphere colors ships and you can't see the truly coloration until it's in space, out of the planet's atmosphere.
